MJ Ferguson have recently held, what is quickly becoming an annual tradition, our Christmas Charity Day (CCD); celebrating all things festive whilst supporting our local communities, and charitable causes.
Our chosen charity for this year was The National Deaf Children’s Society, a target was set; challenging ourselves to raise double from the last CCD, I am very pleased to say that this was not only met, but exceeded, raising over 150% more then targeted.
Fundraising activities included:
Buffet Lunch: A buffet lunch was provided from one of the Directors, a range of party food was available and employees were invited to make a donation.
Secret Santa: All colleagues were tasked with purchasing a Secret Santa gift, from a Charity Shop, enabling us to support a multitude of causes.
Raffle Tickets: A day’s Annual Leave was donated to this year’s Charity pot (Which proved to be a big draw) – double the raffle tickets were printed, with other prizes including Chocolate and Pamper sets.
Fancy Dress: Our colleagues were invited to wear Festive wear for a small donation.
Swear Boxes: These were placed on every desk area in the office, with employees asked to donate 20p per profanity, this was a huge success and raised some funds.
A big Thank You to all employees who participated and took part and a Happy New Year!
