Supply and install Rooftop Workshop

Working on behalf of CBRE, MJ Ferguson Services Limited were instructed to supply and install a GRP workshop on the roof area of The Scalpel.

Electrical works required included a single-phase Schneider distribution board being installed, which was ran from the roof top plant room, and new sockets and strip lighting within the workshop itself. All of these required Earth bonding.

Two new work benches with vices were supplied and installed to complete the new work area.

Supply and Install Rooftop WC

MJ Ferguson Services undertook works to install a new rooftop WC facility.

Works included clearing the existing stones and supplying new slabs to create a concrete base. Electrical supplies were fed from a newly installed 63amp Distribution Board in the workshop, and power supplies were installed for sanitary wear.

Anti-slip flooring was laid within the WC and a Grundfos macerator to feed the WC and hand wash sink. A waste pipe was extended from the macerator to connect into soil stock, which was located in the Electrical switch room below, the cold water supply was extended from around the roof top area and a under sink hot water boiler was installed.

Fire stopping and weather-proofing works were carried out to the existing pipework cowling.

To finish, a stainless-steel hand drier was installed, PIR sensors and a new WC and hand was basin was installed before commissioning certs were issued.
